Slow, Small, and Rustic[]

  • Denton is a slow-play map for casual players who don't logon as often. If you're tired of the hectic life style of Twilight City (and even Gravesend these days) you'll enjoy Denton's unique feature--Action Points refresh at a slower rate, 2AP every 10 minutes.
  • Denton is a smaller map of 20 by 20 squares, with fewer buildings and a quaint, small town aesthetic. It has big city amenities like a fort, a shopping mall, and a gun shop, but it's still small enough that you get to know your neighbors.
  • Rustic Denton has no power station. Generators and gas cans are used to power buildings individually. You won't be disturbed by walkie talkie chatter from other cities, and there's no television reception.

Geography[]

Denton is a small town in the south east corner of Twilight County, 15 miles south of Gravesend, and 45 miles from the county seat of Twilight City. The town consists of four neighborhoods: Bilkswood, Gulley Town, New Old Brook, and Bleakmanton. The terrain is flat, featureless and suitable for corn farming.

History[]

Most county residents consider Denton nothing more than the corn field where the Mischell Mall was built, but some remember it as the site of the 1691 Denton Witch Trials and later as a burying ground for unclaimed Civil War dead. Like it's neighbors, Denton has always been a military town, but the local economy never recovered from the closure of Fort Sharpe in 1977. City Hall hailed the construction of four new Lazarix facilities as a boon to local business, but the unforeseen appearance of zombies and vampires has dampened any hope for Denton's future.
